Storm Morrison has left the club to devote full time to his family and his custom bike building business in Asheville, but lately he’s been having bizarre, disturbing dreams of torture, demons, and perverse sexual acts.
The usually self-confident Storm Morrison finds himself becoming more and more dependent upon painkillers to get through the day and more and more afraid to go to sleep at night because of the bizarre nightmares.
His old lady thinks he’s stressing over work, so she suggests that he hook up with his old musician buddies for a change of perspective.
Without telling Storm, his old friend Jack, the leader of a band called Cowboys From Uranus, has been shopping the demo the band made with Storm’s help, and Jack’s gotten the band signed to a subsidiary of a major label.
Storm agrees to go on the road with the band for six weeks. He leaves his home and his business behind to hop on a tour bus, and from there on, it’s all downhill for Storm.
As the band rises on the charts the nightmares are beginning to drive Storm crazy, and his growing addiction to pain meds turns dark.
Storm Morrison descends into a hellish world of drugs and depravity that he just can’t seem to walk away from as the tour keeps getting extended, and his once happy life falls apart.
